Position: Senior QA Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quality assurance of the trading platform and self-developed L1 chain core processes, including modules such as matching, clearing, margin and funding fees, order placement/cancellation, account and signature, block persistence, indexing, and external interfaces.
- Lead the testing strategy, solution design, and risk assessment for major requirements and core modules to ensure the accuracy and consistency of business processes and critical data.
- Design tests for complex scenarios such as high concurrency, data consistency, idempotency, timeout retries, exception recovery, node crashes, and restarts to verify system stability and fault tolerance.
- Conduct proactive systematic risk assessments: independently select modules for in-depth review, propose and implement new test scenarios without waiting for requirement-driven tasks.
- Build and continuously optimize the automated testing framework, integrate it into CI/CD, and improve coverage, regression efficiency, and delivery quality.
- Participate in requirement and technical solution reviews, responsible for complex issue identification, root cause analysis, and quality risk tracking to ensure issue resolution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with 5+ years of software testing experience, including hands-on testing experience in digital asset trading platforms.
- Strong automation testing development skills, proficient in at least one of Python, Java, or Go. (Note: Core test cases use an internally customized compiled toolchain; candidates must be capable of quickly mastering unfamiliar compiled languages and understanding system-level code.)
- Proficient in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis; able to troubleshoot complex issues in Linux environments using system logs, trace links, and business data.
- Familiar with data validation and operational troubleshooting in ClickHouse, MySQL, and object storage (S3).
- Deep understanding of operating system fundamentals, familiar with ultra-low latency architectures based on shared memory and concurrency/read-write contention.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Apifox, etc.); aware of their limitations in covering only HTTP/WS layers and capable of uncovering deeper risks.
- Self-driven in risk identification, evidence-based logical reasoning, and a pragmatic attitude toward trial-and-error and self-improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in public blockchain/consensus system testing: block production and finality, reorganization and replay, nonce window, and double-spend prevention.
- Performance testing skills: familiar with JMeter, Locust, etc.; understands the impact of block rate, consensus RTT, CPU topology, and core binding on throughput; experience in designing stress tests, analyzing results, and identifying bottlenecks is a plus.
- Familiar with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and practical experience in integrating automated testing into pipelines.
- Experience in binary/memory-mapped state forensics, allocation profiling, flame graphs, and other deep troubleshooting techniques.
