We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Backend Engineer specializing in high-throughput distributed systems. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our core order management engine, optimizing transactions per second (TPS), expanding asset classes, and developing features and strategies around retail order flow. Collaborating closely with the founding team, you will be a key contributor within our technical leadership team, driving innovation and scalability in our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Strengthen and optimize the core order management engine to handle high transaction volumes
Develop and implement strategies to improve system performance and reliability
Expand supported asset classes and trading functionalities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new features
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development

Job Requirements

Expertise in backend development with strong proficiency in Golang (candidates with Rust or Python+C++ backgrounds are also welcome)
Proven experience building real-time, high-throughput systems achieving 99.9%+ availability
Deep understanding of asynchronous queuing systems, batch processing, pub-sub architectures, and websockets
Strong skills in database scalability and system-level performance optimization
Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, orchestration)
Genuine interest in fintech, trading systems, and cryptocurrency domains
Fluency in both English and Chinese for effective global team collaboration
