Job Description
This position focuses on the development and innovation of blockchain-based asset systems within the Bitcoin ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining protocols related to Ordinals and Rune assets, which are emerging technologies for creating unique digital assets on the Bitcoin blockchain. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Ordinals protocol extensions and Rune asset frameworks, ensuring compatibility with Bitcoin's consensus rules and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional blockchain interfaces, maintaining fidelity to design specifications while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop smart contract templates and asset issuance protocols that support decentralized applications (dApps) and tokenized asset management systems.
- Implement transaction validation mechanisms for Rune assets, ensuring security, immutability, and proper asset tracking across the Bitcoin network.
- Conduct rigorous testing of blockchain features, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization for asset-related operations.
- Document technical processes and collaborate with developers to maintain code quality and scalability of blockchain asset systems.
- Stay updated on blockchain advancements and contribute to the evolution of Bitcoin's asset layer through research and experimentation.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain development, specifically with Bitcoin's Ordinals protocol and Rune asset systems, with a deep understanding of cryptographic principles and consensus mechanisms.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, C++, or Python, with experience in developing blockchain protocols and smart contracts.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders while translating technical requirements into actionable tasks.
- Knowledge of design tools like Figma or Adobe XD to understand visual drafts and provide feedback on implementation details.
