Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute secondary development on Shopify theme templates using Liquid language, adhering to design specifications and functional requirements.
• Integrate customized theme solutions with popular Shopify plugins and external API systems to ensure seamless operation and data synchronization.
• Design and implement interactive website elements, including form validations, dynamic content displays, and responsive UI components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine website architecture, balancing aesthetic appeal with technical feasibility and user accessibility.
• Conduct regular audits of website performance, identifying optimization opportunities for loading speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO compliance.
• Document development processes and maintain version control for theme templates and integrated systems to support future updates and troubleshooting.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for design improvements based on user behavior analysis, visual consistency standards, and usability testing results.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in Shopify theme development with a strong understanding of Liquid templating language and Shopify's API ecosystem.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of third-party Shopify apps (e.g., Shopify Apps Store tools) and integration capabilities with external services (e.g., payment gateways, analytics platforms).
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot theme conflicts, plugin errors, and API connectivity issues while maintaining site functionality.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders through regular updates and collaborative tools.
• Strong attention to detail for ensuring visual consistency, layout accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines across all website pages.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code deployment processes for Shopify themes and app integrations.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles to create intuitive user interfaces and enhance overall website usability and engagement.
• Availability to work within the specified time frame (1-2 months) while maintaining a flexible schedule that accommodates remote collaboration.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines, balancing technical precision with creative design solutions.
