Job Description
This role is a key position in creating engaging social media content for REPUBLIK, with a focus on video production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing creative video strategies across multiple platforms, including TikTok. The responsibilities include producing both organic and sponsored video content, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand voice and audience engagement goals. The candidate will also be involved in brainstorming and executing humorous skits, trend-based content, and other creative projects within the office environment. Collaboration with the creative team and leveraging the unique personalities of coworkers and creator collaborators will be essential to producing authentic and relatable content. Additionally, the role requires innovation in content formats to enhance the REPUBLIK website and social media presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce high-quality video content for TikTok and other social media platforms, including both organic and sponsored campaigns.
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos with a strong emphasis on comedic timing, creative cuts, and overall entertainment value.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize and execute funny skits, trend-jacking content, and other innovative projects at the office.
- Utilize coworkers and creator collaborators as characters in video content to create authentic and engaging narratives.
- Experiment with new content formats and storytelling techniques to enhance REPUBLIK's digital presence across websites and social media channels.
- Work with the REPUBLIK team to translate creative ideas into visual content that resonates with the target audience.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual style across all video productions.
- Monitor social media trends and audience feedback to refine content strategies and improve engagement metrics.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align video content with overall marketing objectives and campaign timelines.
- Manage the video production workflow, including pre-production planning, filming, editing, and post-production delivery.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in social media content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing video production skills.
- Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent understanding of comedic timing and storytelling techniques to create engaging video content.
- Ability to conceptualize and execute creative video ideas that align with brand identity and audience preferences.
