Job Description
As a Compliance Specialist focusing on virtual assets, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our company operates within legal frameworks across various jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research on virtual asset regulations and licensing requirements globally, monitoring regulatory updates, and ensuring timely compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze virtual asset-related laws, regulations, and licensing requirements across different countries/regions, staying updated with regulatory developments.
- Manage the license application process, including document preparation, coordination with legal teams and regulatory bodies, and follow-up on approval progress.
- Maintain existing licenses by handling renewals, annual audits, and submitting regular compliance reports to ensure continuous adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide compliance guidance to business teams, ensuring all operational activities align with legal requirements.
- Assist in developing and optimizing internal compliance policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols (SOPs).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Law, Finance, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of compliance experience in the financial or virtual asset industry, with preference given to candidates with license application experience.
- Prior experience in exchange license applications is mandatory.
- Strong legal research skills, project management capabilities, and proficiency in English communication.
- High sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and genuine interest in the Crypto industry.
