Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to design and develop our core backend systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership of critical modules including order processing, inventory management, payment systems, and revenue distribution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong architectural skills while maintaining focus on system stability, security, and performance optimization throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend architecture for core business systems covering orders, inventory, payments, and revenue sharing
- Own the complete development cycle from architectural design to coding implementation and production deployment
- Continuously improve system reliability, security protocols, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Document system architecture and maintain development best practices
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with expertise in Go (or strong proficiency in Rust/Java/C++ with ability to transition quickly)
- Deep PostgreSQL knowledge with practical experience in high-concurrency scenarios including inventory deduction, idempotent order processing, and financial reconciliation
- Proven track record of independently delivering backend systems from scratch
- Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) as primary productivity tools
- Experience developing and maintaining custom Agent Skills with ability to design reusable AI instruction modules
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in distributed team environments
