Tape (formerly Lenstube) is an open-source Web3 video-sharing social media platform based on the Lens protocol, which runs on the Polygon mainnet. Creators can upload their content to Arweave, where the data is stored permanently on Polygon. With low gas fees, users can publish their video content and profit from it. In addition, viewers can support creators by casting their favorite content and tips, or by joining channels with membership. Tape's goal is to develop a decentralized video-sharing application that allows content creators to own their video content and monetize it in various ways, such as through the NFT module.
