Job Description
As a Merchant Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our P2P merchant network and ensuring seamless operations. Your responsibilities will span across merchant acquisition, relationship management, operational support, and strategic initiatives to drive platform growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding: Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential high-quality P2P merchants. Lead negotiation processes and oversee the complete merchant onboarding workflow.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with merchants through regular engagement, aiming to enhance merchant activity and loyalty.
- Operational Support: Provide daily operational assistance to merchants, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate cross-functional resources for timely resolution.
- Performance Monitoring: Track merchant transaction data and operational KPIs, conduct analytical reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
- Campaign Execution: Design and implement merchant-facing initiatives (promotions, subsidies, traffic generation) aligned with company objectives.
- Risk Management: Oversee merchant compliance processes including due diligence and disclosure requirements. Monitor transaction patterns and financial flows for risk mitigation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
- Minimum 2 years experience in financial services/payment merchant operations
- Prior experience with TOP20 exchange P2P merchant operations preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong execution capability
- Proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with major P2P platforms (Binance/OKX/Huobi) merchant ecosystems
- Background in fintech or digital currency industry
- Proficiency in English or other foreign languages
