Job Description
We are seeking a talented VFX Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing high-quality in-game visual effects and particle systems. You will work closely with designers, artists, and programmers to achieve aesthetic excellence while maintaining optimal performance. This role requires a strong technical understanding of VFX creation and optimization within Unreal Engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimize high-quality in-game visual effects and particle systems
- Master the editors tools and pipelines for VFX creation and optimization
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to achieve aesthetic excellence
- Optimize tasks and maintain balance between quality and performance
- Technically implement, integrate, troubleshoot, and ensure the performance of effects in Unreal Engine
- Anticipate and communicate technical challenges with the team
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a VFX Artist in game development
- Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine and its VFX tools
- Excellent understanding of particle systems and visual effects creation
- Ability to optimize visual effects for performance without sacrificing quality
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset to anticipate and address technical challenges
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality VFX work in games
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other game engines and VFX tools
- Knowledge of scripting or programming for VFX implementation
- Understanding of shaders and materials in game development
- Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization techniques
