Job Description
We are looking for a skilled UI Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing and enhancing UI systems to align with the Creative Director's vision, ensuring an exceptional player experience. This role involves close collaboration with art and design teams to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement new and extend existing UI systems to meet the Creative Director's vision and the game’s design intent.
- Work closely with art and design leads to ensure UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Optimize and fix bugs in existing UI systems to improve performance and usability.
- Contribute innovative ideas to all aspects of the game’s production and development.
- Write robust, maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
- Assist other team members with their work while managing your own workload effectively.
- Take ownership and responsibility for critical issues in your time zone to ensure quick resolution.
- Communicate regularly with your lead and the production department, providing updates and accurate time estimates for your tasks.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in UI development, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with bug fixing and performance optimization in UI systems.
