Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement gameplay systems and mechanics for metaverse, Web3, crypto games, and multiplayer features using the Unity Engine and SDKs such as Photon Pun, Photon Fusion, and Mirror
- Collaborate with the art and design teams to integrate gameplay into the game
- Maintain and optimize game performance using the Unity Engine
- Design and implement efficient workflows and pipelines to streamline the production process using the Unity Engine
- Mentor junior team members and assist with their development
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in game development, including metaverse, Web3, crypto games, and multiplayer features
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Unity Engine
- Strong proficiency in C# programming and Unity scripting
- Experience with multiplayer game development and SDKs such as Photon Pun, Photon Fusion, and Mirror
- Knowledge of metaverse, Web3, and crypto game development trends
- Ability to optimize game performance and implement efficient workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with blockchain technology and smart contracts
- Familiarity with VR/AR development in Unity
- Published games or projects in the metaverse or Web3 space
- Knowledge of shader programming and graphics optimization
