Job Description
This position requires a highly skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure solutions that align with enterprise security standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and advising on redundantly secure software systems, particularly those handling sensitive operations such as transaction processing or Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. Key tasks include writing secure, testable, and efficient code that meets industry best practices, conducting internal security reviews to identify vulnerabilities, and making informed technical and product decisions that balance security requirements with user experience. Additionally, the role involves implementing, reviewing, and improving internal information security and incident response policies to ensure robust protection against cyber threats. The candidate will also play a critical role in helping the organization maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks applicable to financial institutions in the context of information security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, including data encryption, access control, and threat detection mechanisms.
- Advising on the architecture of secure software systems, ensuring redundancy and resilience for mission-critical applications like transaction processing platforms and KYC systems.
- Writing and maintaining code that adheres to security best practices, with a focus on minimizing vulnerabilities while maintaining performance and scalability.
- Conducting regular internal security reviews using tools such as code audits, penetration testing, and compliance checks to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to make technical decisions that optimize security without compromising usability or functionality.
- Implementing and refining information security policies, incident response protocols, to align with industry standards and organizational needs.
- Monitoring and improving security practices through continuous evaluation of existing systems and emerging threats.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and financial industry standards to mitigate legal and operational risks.
- Documenting security processes, procedures, and system configurations for audit purposes and knowledge sharing.
- Providing expert guidance to team members on security-related topics and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably in environments requiring high availability and data protection.
- Strong background in developing secure software systems with a focus on redundancy, fault tolerance, and compliance with security frameworks.
- Expertise in writing secure, testable, and efficient code using languages such as Python, Java, or C#, with a deep understanding of secure coding standards.
- Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis, to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in software systems.
- Ability to make informed technical decisions that balance security requirements with user experience, ensuring systems are both robust and user-friendly.
- Experience in creating and maintaining information security policies, incident response plans, and compliance documentation for financial institutions.
