Job Description
The role involves establishing and optimizing a comprehensive risk control system for digital asset exchanges, covering market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. Responsibilities include developing risk control policies, procedures, and execution standards to ensure platform security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance a risk management framework tailored for digital asset exchanges.
- Monitor trading activities in real-time to detect anomalies like price manipulation or wash trading.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to meet local and international regulatory requirements.
- Implement anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) policies.
- Ensure asset security by overseeing hot and cold wallet management.
- Analyze user behavior, fund flows, and market data to identify risks.
- Respond to emergencies such as system failures or cyberattacks promptly.
- Conduct regular risk control drills to improve platform resilience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of risk control experience in finance, preferably in crypto exchanges, banks, or securities firms.
- Familiarity with centralized exchange (CEX) operations and digital asset trading mechanisms.
- Proficiency in AML/KYC compliance and data analysis tools (Python, SQL, Excel).
- Understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency market trends.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese or Malay is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
