Job Description
Responsible for designing and implementing the trading mechanisms, liquidity infrastructure, and risk control systems for Gperp's gold perpetual contracts to ensure platform trading depth, stability, price rationality, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee liquidity construction and market-making system setup, coordinating with market makers (MM), quantitative teams, and external liquidity providers.
- Manage order book depth, bid-ask spreads, slippage, funding rates, and inventory risks to continuously optimize trading experience.
- Develop incentive programs such as Maker rewards, LP incentives, and trading promotions to enhance platform activity and market depth.
- Participate in designing and optimizing core trading mechanisms for gold perpetual contracts, including order book, margin, liquidation, funding rates, mark price, and index price mechanisms.
- Establish trading risk control measures, including Auto-Deleveraging (ADL), circuit breakers, depth protection, price safeguards, abnormal trade interception, and extreme market handling.
- Monitor market risks such as extreme volatility, order book anomalies, market maker withdrawals, price deviations, oracle failures, wash trading, and arbitrage exploits.
- Develop risk monitoring metrics, including position concentration, leverage usage, liquidation risks, insolvency risks, liquidity gaps, and abnormal funding rates.
- Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to implement trading mechanisms, risk rules, monitoring dashboards, and operational strategies.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Perp DEX/CEX trading mechanisms, including order matching, liquidation, margin, funding rates, and mark price logic.
- Strong understanding of liquidity, order book depth, trading behaviors, and market microstructure.
- Familiarity with perpetual contract risk controls, including liquidation, auto-deleveraging (ADL), insurance funds, circuit breakers, and price protection.
- Preferred experience in market making, quant trading, exchange operations, derivatives trading, or risk management.
- Knowledge of Hyperliquid, dYdX, GMX, Orderly, or Binance Futures trading/liquidity mechanisms is a plus.
- Strong data analysis skills to identify trading risks through order book, trades, positions, funding rates, and liquidation data.
- Understanding of gold, commodities, forex, or crypto derivatives trading is advantageous.
