Job Description
As a Full Stack Quality Assurance Engineer for our Web3 platform, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge decentralized applications. Your expertise will span across multiple layers of our technology stack, delivering comprehensive test coverage and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the Web3 platform including frontend UI/UX, backend APIs, and blockchain node interactions.
- Test Automation Engineering: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium to enhance regression testing efficiency.
- API Testing Expertise: Perform in-depth interface testing using Postman or Bruno to validate RESTful/GraphQL API requests and responses, ensuring backend logic synchronization with on-chain data.
- Test Case Design: Create rigorous test cases for complex prediction market logic including order book matching, odds calculation, and dividend settlement mechanisms.
- Web3 Specialized Testing: Validate wallet integrations (Metamask, WalletConnect), signature authorizations, on-chain transaction statuses, and accurate Gas fee estimations.
- Defect Management: Precisely identify root causes of bugs (frontend compatibility issues, backend logic errors, or smart contract responses) and collaborate with development teams for timely resolutions.
Job Requirements
- Testing Foundation: 3+ years of web automation testing experience with familiarity in CI/CD pipelines.
- API Specialist: Proficient in API testing tools with ability to independently analyze request payloads and response codes to identify data anomalies.
- Scripting Proficiency: Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test script development.
- Tooling Expertise: Advanced knowledge of browser DevTools (Network and Application panels) for packet capture and analysis.
- Web3 Experience: Hands-on testing experience with Web3 projects, particularly DeFi/prediction market platforms like GMX or Uniswap.
- Blockchain Knowledge: Understanding of EVM-compatible chains, smart contract interaction flows, and blockchain explorers (Etherscan/Polygonscan).
- Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of trading mechanisms (liquidity pools, binary options logic) with ability to detect subtle data calculation errors.
