Job Description
The CEX Data Product Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of data products for centralized exchanges (CEX), focusing on core business areas such as spot trading, contracts, wealth management, and derivatives. This role involves comprehensively addressing data requirements and daily support needs across various business lines. The manager will lead the establishment of a unified and standardized data indicator system, ensure consistent data definitions, complete data governance, and deliver standardized reports, real-time monitoring dashboards, and self-service analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business teams including commercial, operations, trading, risk control, and marketing to regularly respond to requests such as business queries, data reviews, activity effectiveness evaluations, and channel conversion analyses.
- Analyze business performance through data, identify issues, and provide actionable recommendations to support business decision-making, campaign operations, channel management, and revenue growth.
- Drive the iterative optimization of data products to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and usability. Work with R&D and data warehouse teams to implement features and resolve issues, ensuring stable and reliable data across all business processes to support platform trading volume, user growth, and revenue targets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Big Data, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data product management within exchanges or the financial industry, with a deep understanding of CEX business processes and logic.
- Proficiency in business metrics related to trading, users, channels, and risk control. Strong ability to design and implement indicator systems and data products, efficiently addressing diverse business data needs. Basic SQL skills and independent data extraction/analysis capabilities are required.
- Excellent cross-departmental communication and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand business needs. Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Results-driven, resilient under pressure, and adaptable to fast-paced industry demands.
