Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test and optimize market making algorithms and trading strategies
• Analyze large datasets to identify market patterns and trading opportunities
• Develop automated trading systems using programming languages like Python, C++, Java or Go
• Monitor market conditions and adjust strategies in real-time
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to enhance trading infrastructure
• Manage risk exposure and ensure compliance with trading limits
• Communicate strategy performance and market insights to stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in market making or proprietary quantitative trading
• Strong understanding of market maker principles and microstructure
• Proficient in Python (Pandas, Numpy) or R for data analysis and backtesting
• Excellent programming skills with experience building automated trading systems
• Deep interest in digital assets and cryptocurrency market mechanisms
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Fluent in both English and Chinese communication
• Experience building market making systems/teams from scratch preferred
• Background at top hedge funds or crypto market makers is a plus
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure (node APIs, smart contracts)
