Job Description
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams globally to design, develop, and enhance features for Injective Protocol. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining product roadmaps and milestones, aligning them with strategic priorities. They will also deliver detailed product requirement documents, design specifications, and implementation plans while iterating on feedback to ensure timely product delivery. Additionally, the position requires engaging with the community to understand and address their needs, managing the entire product life cycle from concept to launch, and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and technical feasibility. The individual will conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation. This includes staying informed about emerging technologies, competitor strategies, and user behavior patterns to guide product evolution and maintain a competitive edge in the blockchain ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions and departments to design, develop, and enhance features for Injective Protocol, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps and milestones, incorporating strategic priorities and long-term vision into actionable plans.
- Develop detailed product requirement documents, design specifications, and implementation plans while iterating on feedback to refine product quality and user experience.
- Engage directly with the community through surveys, forums, and feedback channels to identify pain points and translate them into product improvements.
- Manage the full product life cycle, including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, and post-launch support, in coordination with engineering and design teams.
- Prioritize initiatives and projects based on business impact, technical complexity, and stakeholder feedback to optimize resource allocation and delivery timelines.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to uncover industry trends, user behavior patterns, and opportunities for product differentiation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure product development aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Document and communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and technical decisions to internal teams and external partners.
- Stay updated on blockchain technology advancements and industry best practices to maintain innovation and competitiveness in product development.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in product management or software development, preferably within the blockchain or decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and launch processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-centric product specifications and documentation.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or Confluence for tracking progress and managing workflows.
- Experience with community engagement strategies and tools for gathering feedback and analyzing user needs.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, user behavior, and competitive landscapes for informed decision-making.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Fluency in English for clear communication with international teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of blockchain protocols, smart contract development, and decentralized application (dApp) ecosystems is a plus.
