Job Description
The Head of Finance and Operations is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial and operational functions of the organization. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on management to ensure the company's financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, develop and implement financial strategies, and drive business growth through effective resource allocation and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support organizational goals and ensure profitability
 - Oversee day-to-day operations, including supply chain management, production processes, and quality control systems
 - Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment frameworks
 - Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards
 - Lead human resources initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management
 - Collaborate with department heads to align operational objectives with financial performance metrics
 - Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements across all business units
 - Monitor market trends and economic conditions to inform strategic decision-making
 - Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and business partners
 - Provide leadership and guidance during periods of organizational change or expansion
 
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification preferred
 - Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in finance and operations management, with proven track record of success
 - Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations processes
 - Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and develop actionable insights
 - Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools
 - Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and departments
 - Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements impacting financial and operational functions
 - Strong communication skills with ability to present complex information to executive leadership and stakeholders
 - Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives
 - Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement and change management initiatives
