Job Description
The Community Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing comprehensive community operations for edgeX DEX in the Japanese market. This role requires native-level Japanese proficiency combined with expertise in blockchain technology and community engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Japanese community operations across Telegram, Discord, Line and local social media platforms, fostering active and professional engagement.
- Accurately translate product-related content including feature explanations, tutorials, campaign rules and announcements, ensuring proper localization of technical terms.
- Develop and execute localized community activities (trading challenges, AMAs, discussions) tailored to Japanese user behavior and market characteristics.
- Collect and analyze user feedback, producing bilingual (Japanese/Chinese) weekly reports for product and operations teams.
- Monitor community sentiment, address potential issues proactively, and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Conduct competitive analysis of Japanese DEX platforms and submit monthly reports with strategic recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Native Japanese fluency with professional Chinese proficiency for cross-team collaboration.
- 1+ years experience in crypto community management with strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals.
- Proven ability to translate technical crypto content accurately with proper localization.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing community growth initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to adapt strategies based on community feedback.
- Preferred: Experience managing Japanese crypto communities on Telegram/Discord/Line.
- Preferred: Existing relationships with Japanese crypto KOLs or community leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience localizing blockchain products for Japanese market.
- Deep understanding of perpetual contracts and on-chain trading mechanisms.
- Data analysis skills to derive insights from community metrics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams in English.
