Job Description
This role is focused on driving community engagement and event growth for Oasis within the Web3 ecosystem. The primary responsibilities include planning and executing local events, meetups, and hackathons to connect with developers, founders, and industry professionals. The candidate will also act as a key liaison between Oasis and regional blockchain communities, university clubs, and event organizers to amplify brand visibility and foster collaboration. Additionally, they will represent Oasis at major conferences, networking events, and industry gatherings, ensuring consistent communication of the company's mission and values. Strategic partnerships with local stakeholders will be prioritized to expand Oasis' footprint and increase participation in key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute local events, meetups, and hackathons to engage developers, founders, and the broader Web3 community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local Web3 communities, university blockchain clubs, and event organizers to promote Oasis' brand and initiatives.
- Represent Oasis at major blockchain conferences, networking events, and industry gatherings, delivering compelling presentations and fostering networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with local partners to create strategic alliances that enhance Oasis' presence and drive event attendance through co-hosting, sponsorships, or cross-promotion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure event logistics, marketing materials, and technical requirements align with Oasis' goals and standards.
- Track event performance metrics and provide insights to optimize future activities, including attendee engagement, feedback collection, and ROI analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging opportunities within the Web3 space to identify innovative event formats and community engagement strategies.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in organizing events within the tech or blockchain industry, with a demonstrated track record of successful community engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, present Oasis' vision, and manage event-related interactions.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized systems, and the Web3 ecosystem to align event strategies with technical and industry realities.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with local communities, academic institutions, and event organizers to create long-term partnerships.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics coordination, to execute events efficiently and on time.
- Experience in marketing and promotional strategies for tech startups, with a focus on social media, content creation, and outreach campaigns.
- Proficiency in using event management tools and platforms to streamline planning, registration, and post-event analysis processes.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for fostering innovation and community growth, combined with adaptability to evolving project needs.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community management, event coordination, or similar roles within the blockchain or tech sector.
