Valid aims to establish a source of truth for the decentralized internet. Real-world information about entities, such as their websites, Twitter accounts, and official emails, will be verified and attached to their W3C DID (Digital Identity Document). This information will be checked and validated by multiple parties to ensure its accuracy. By using verifiable credentials, the verification results will be permanent and tamper-proof. As a result, the project will build a trust network based on mutual verification. The project is developed by zCloak Network.
