Open accelerates open networks through information abstraction and computational abstraction by introducing the Open Virtual Machine (OVM) into Arbitrum. The OVM acts as a bridge between blockchain resources on-chain and computational capabilities off-chain, enabling blockchain networks to run complex applications such as decentralized AI and secure automation. Built using a modular architecture, the OVM combines the data structuring and translation expertise of Open Node with Arbitrum's high-throughput environment to provide scalable external computing power and access for decentralized applications.
