Nectra is a decentralized lending protocol that enables users to borrow nUSD (Nectra USD) by using Citrea BTC (cBTC) as collateral. The nUSD token is a stablecoin that is loosely pegged to the US dollar, with cBTC deposits serving as additional collateral. The Bitcoin collateral ensures the stability of the nUSD token by directly converting it into an equivalent amount of cBTC, which is valued at 1 US dollar.
