Gigachain

Gigachain is the next-generation Layer 1 blockchain designed for scalable, trustless, and parallel execution. It employs a novel SNARK-based architecture and is the first decentralized protocol to achieve permissionless, conflict-free concurrent transaction processing without compromising state consistency or security. By fundamentally rethinking the execution mechanism, Gigachain distributes computing tasks among various decentralized participants, eliminating redundant processing in the network and thereby achieving performance breakthroughs for high-load and complex workloads. Gigachain has received preliminary investment from Presto Labs and is being incubated by the Telos Foundation, led by pioneering teams from IOHK, Telos, and Horizen in the fields of zero-knowledge cryptography and blockchain infrastructure.
