Etica is a blockchain protocol used for open-source medical research, which encourages multiple parties to participate in a decentralized medical research process without any intellectual property rights. The protocol is based on a privacy voting system, where token holders can submit proposals, which are scientific articles related to specific diseases. It facilitates offline communication among token holders regarding the usefulness of these proposals. Etica aims to become a neutral protocol on which the next generation of decentralized communities can organize themselves and gain expertise in order to discover medical methods that do not involve intellectual property rights.
