Etched Network

Etched is a FOSS (Free and Open Source) Bitcoin Layer 2 project. It allows users to deploy Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) smart contracts and interact with them by directly processing transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain. Etched is designed to utilize Bitcoin's Proof of Work (POW) mechanism to ensure security, transaction ordering, and data integrity.
