Welcome to DataHop
DataHop is a decentralized content distribution network that operates at the edge of the network. It bypasses the network core and uses users' smartphones and WiFi access points to distribute a large amount of content directly at the edge of the network, where it is actually needed by the users. DataHop reduces the cellular data usage of mobile network operators, the streaming costs for end-users, and the distribution costs for content providers. By leveraging users' own devices, DataHop does not require the maintenance of expensive CDN (Content Delivery Network) infrastructure.
